GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

 

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL HELD?

Street Superior 2018 will be held at:
Pasir Panjang Power Station
27 Pasir Panjang Road
Singapore 117537

The festival is a 2-day packed event! 

(This venue is not to be confused with St. James Power Station which is a different power station.)

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL OPENING HOURS?

Sat 27th October & Sun 28th October 2018
12pm – 10pm

 

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

Tickets sold before the event days are:

2-day ticket - $25
1-day ticket - $15

These pre-event ticket prices are valid up until 11:59pm on Friday 26th October 2018. After this time, any tickets sold will be done so on the day price.

Tickets on the day are:

2-day ticket - $30
1-day ticket - $20

A 1-day ticket can be used on either Saturday or Sunday.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

 

How do i get to the festival?

Train — We suggest taking the MRT to Labrador Park (8 min walk to the festival) or catching a taxi. Pasir Panjang Road is off Telok Blangah road.

Drive — You can drive and park at the ARC which has free parking over the weekend. It’s a short walk to Labrador Park MRT where there will be a free shuttle bus service provided. The shuttle bus will loop around Labrador Park MRT (Exit A) and Pasir Panjang every 20 minutes or so.

Bus — Bus numbers 176, 188E, 188, 10, 30E, 30, 51, 143 and 175 are the closest to the Power Station which is then a 5 walk to the Power Station.

The shuttle bus service starts 15 minutes before the festival begins. The last bus will leave Pasir Panjang Power Station at 10.30pm

 

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST MRT TO THE POWER STATION?

The closest MRT station is Labrador Park (Circle CC27, yellow line) which is an approximate 8 minute walk to the Power Station. There will be signage to direct you to the event.

 

IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED IF I NEED TO LEAVE THE EVENT VENUE?

Yes so long as you’re wearing the valid event day tag, re-entry will be permitted.

 

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION TO ATTEND?

Street Superior 2018 is open to all ages!

Kids under 9 years come in for free with an accompanying adult. Children 9 years and over will need a ticket to access the event. IDs will be checked at the door.

People are welcome to bring strollers to the event however there is nowhere to park your strollers once onsite.

 

WHAT IF IT’S RAINING?

The event is a rain or shine event! The Power Station provides shelter however the areas outside of the building are not sheltered therefore we recommend you bring an umbrella with you.

 

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

The closest car park is at The ARC 460 Alexandra Road, Singapore 119963.It is free to park on the weekends.

 

WHERE IS THE TAXI DROP OFF?

The taxi drop off will be outside of the Power Station gates.

 

IS THERE A SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE?

There will be a free shuttle bus service between Labrador Park MRT (Exit A) and the power station. It will loop around every 20-25 minutes. It will commence 15 minutes before the festival opens, and the last bus will leave 30 minutes after the festival closes (from the power station).

The shuttle bus pick up points will be at:

Street Superior Festival (Pasir Panjang Station)

 

WILL MY BAGS BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR?

Yes for the safety of everyone, all bags will be checked by security at the door. Also no outside food and drinks are allowed so please consume this before entering the festival.

 

Is there air conditioning at the festival?

There is NO AIR CONDITIONING at the festival so please be sure to wear appropriate clothing. There will be industrial fans at the festival. There will also be plenty of vendors selling water at the festival.

 

Is there FREE WIFI ONSITE?

There is no free wifi at the event.

 

Is there an ATM at the festival

There is no ATM onsite at the festival. The closest ATMs are located at The ARC 460 Alexandra Road, Singapore 119963.

 

IS THERE A CLOAKROOM AT THE FESTIVAL?

There is no cloakroom available at the festival. Any bags or items left unattended will be removed by security.

 

ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?

As the festival is taking place indoors, pets are not allowed into the Power Station. We also do not advise you leaving any pets outside as there is no shelter.

 

WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED?

The restrooms are located outside of the building.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

 

IS THERE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Loads! There will be a huge range of food and beverage stalls (halal & non-halal) available to choose from.  No outside food or drink is allowed in the event and guests will be asked to consume their food before they enter.

To make the festival enjoyable for all, please be considerate to other festival goers and throw away your rubbish in the bins provided.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes there will be alcohol on sale at the event so IDs will be checked at the door. Those under 18 or unable to prove that they are over 18 will be tagged as under age. Our vendors reserve the right to refuse service to anyone they suspect is under the legal drinking age of 18 or suspect that the alcohol is being bought for someone under age. Our onsite security will ask offenders to leave the event site and can call the Singapore Police Force if necessary.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR GOODS OR FOOD/DRINKS AT THE FESTIVAL?

Every vendor may have their own payment system which allow credit or nets payments but we recommend you download HITPAY to make credit card payments. Otherwise cash is king!

 
 
 
 

Lucky Draws

 

HOW DO I ENTER INTO THE LUCKY DRAW?

We have gone and done it again this year! We’ve gathered a mountain of prizes to give away!  Each ticket equals one entrance into the lucky draw. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase, however, you must be onsite at the event to claim your prize. 

If you have purchased your ticket online and input your details you will automatically be entered into the lucky draw. If someone bought your ticket for you, make sure you claim it and enter your information prior to the event! (find more details on how to do this here)

If you have bought a printed ticket from one of our partner stores you will be asked to provide your name, email address and contact number upon check-in at the event to enable us to enter you into the draw.  Please allow a little time to do this.

WHERE DO I COLLECT MY PRIZE?

Prizes will be collected from the Sole Superior merchandise tables . You will need to show ID to claim your prize.
You will have 60 minutes to collect your prize. Prizes that have not be claimed with be re-entered back into the lucky draw.

 
 
 

 Trading at the Festival

 

CAN I BRING SHOES/APPAREL/ACCESSORIES TO TRADE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. Each guest can bring up to TWO pairs of shoes/apparel/accessories to buy/sell/trade within the TRADING PIT only.

You are however, only allowed to CARRY these shoes to the TRADING PIT and out of respect for the vendors who have purchased booth space or a table, anyone caught setting up their own makeshift stalls outside of the pit will be asked to move.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’VE BOUGHT A LEGITIMATE PRODUCT?

To quote the immortal words of Edison Chen, "F**k the Fakeshit!".

Please check any purchase(s) for defects or legitimacy.

Street Superior will not be held responsible for any transactions made by any guests. 

Counterfeit / Replica / Fakes / INSPIRED shoes are prohibited at Street Superior 2018. Anyone found selling or attempting to sell such items will be asked to leave the event and a report will be lodged with the relevant authorities.
