Chase Shiel (Aus)

Melbourne-based Chase Shiel has become one to watch with his brand of tailored kicks, which he has been creating for more than 10 years. Having trained in traditional shoemaking, Chase brought his technical skills to the art of custom sneakers, lending his magic to an artistic rework of Sean Wotherspoon's industry-flipping Air Max 97/1, the 'SW Corduroy'.

Other notable projects include his Air Jordan 1 and Air Max 1 'Mars Yard' with Fiamma Studios, and the Japanese matcha-inspired Air Jordan 1, made in collaboration with #deliciouskicks artist @ryustyler. Check back for first dibs on his newest work—a Street Superior-exclusive—which will soon be available for pre-orders.

The Kickz Stand (Aus)

The Kickz Stand is one of Down Under's largest sneaker communities, and brings it to Street Superior this year with their signature "It's More Than Just Sneakers" tour.

Get hyped for a stellar lineup of artists and brands including Chase Shiel, Grail Crew Customs, DJ DayDay, and collabs with streetwear labels like Australia's Unlike Clothing and Indonesia's Cosmonauts. Expect Street Superior-exclusive merch and sneaky surprises from these ace streetwear lifestyle curators.

Grail Customs Crew

The Don of @grailcrew_customs, Jeffrey Martinez aka El Sneaker Hefe, will be gracing the festival grounds with his iconic anime-meets-street-art designs. As Australia's Ace of Customs' crowning champion, he will be dropping his first limited release series of customs, "Legends of Hip Hop", dedicated to Hip Hop's finest and greatest.

Hiroyuki Suzuki

Four-time World Yoyo Champion, seven-time Asia Pacific Yoyo Champion and holder of two Guinness World Records—Japan's Hiroyuki Suzuki is a tough one to beat. He also runs e-store YOYOADDICT, and FRESHTHINGS, a yoyo lifestyle store featuring sold-out collectables and collabs with Fragment, Bape, FR2, Coca-Cola, and Peanuts, cementing his place among sreet royalty.


Making its debut at Street Superior 2019 is Big Big Con, a toy convention masterminded by the crew at FLABSLAB. Forget commercial toy cons; this will be a straightup gathering for collectors, fans, artists, and makers of designer collectables. Drop by for showcases, exclusives and first previews of new work by homegrown artists Pobber Toys, Whale Rabbit, Daniel Yu, and regional creatives including Creon (Philippines), Wetworks (Philippines), Good Guys Never Win (Indonesia), Kong Andri (Indonesia) and Robin Tang (Taiwan).
